The Japan Elegance is designed as delicate connection of antique photographs in the permanent Museum Collection. Photographs in exhibition enter in full dialogue with the elements releated to the cult of beauty in the Museum, by illustrating their use. Objects coming from the Okiya (traditional geisha houses) are placed beside photographs of authors as Baron Von Stillfried, Adolfo Farsari, Kusakabe Kimbei, Felice Beato (who describe that world through images of rare refinement) to relate about a world made of elegance, beauty and care.
